Job Description:
The Social Media Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the social media posting strategy, content calendar, featured videos, live events, and promoted content across all social platforms in addition to tracking performance of social media initiatives.
This role is part of the Digital Marketing team and is equal parts creative and strategic, and requires in-depth knowledge of best practices across key social platforms, an eye for effective content, a solid sense of how to build and maintain a community, and a strong ability to read and respond to social analytics.
Requirements:
- Execute social programs including our following and engagement across key platforms
- Create and maintain a content calendar for all social channels working with in-house generate new content with a goal for user acquisition
- Ability to contribute and edit strong and engaging social media copy in a past-paced and high-volume environment
- Provide support for localized social accounts in multiple countries and regions globally
- Support short- and long-term strategies for platform engagement
- Collaborate across teams to find great content and social marketing opportunities
- Support social media manager by tracking down content and assets from internal parties so deadlines can be hit
- Help build plan to create a brand ambassador and community building strategy
- Tracking post analytics for campaigns and events to report to Social Media Director
- Generate reports/sharing pertinent information across multiple teams
- Assist Social Media Manager with scheduling posts and finding/creating content
- Has the foresight to anticipate issues in workflow or content performance and present to Social Media Director with possible actionable solutions
- Other duties as required
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in social media coordination
- International experience a plus
- Hands-on experience in growing and maintaining online community
- Experience with international and emerging social platforms is a big plus as well as managing global social campaigns and domestic and offshore teams
Skills:
- Understanding of the social media landscape and of audience behaviors
- Good eye for interesting, stand-out content online
- Knowledge of social analytics platforms (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Slack, Adobe Photoshop
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to excellence and a deep belief in diversity and collaboration
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Previous work for a talent agency, Social Media company or similar talent management experience preferred
- Entertainment/Startup experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day
- Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment
